Embark on a 9-day journey through two of Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations: Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks.

This classic Northern Circuit safari highlights elephant migration routes in Tarangire and the awe-inspiring Great Migration across the Serengeti plains. The tour is designed for those who want to witness Africa’s most powerful wildlife spectacles while supporting conservation and local communities. Stay in eco-conscious lodges and tented camps, enjoy expert-guided safaris, and visit projects dedicated to elephant protection and habitat preservation.

About the Location

The tour begins in Tarangire National Park, a lesser-known gem that becomes a haven for elephants during the dry season. Famed for its ancient baobab trees and wide river valleys, Tarangire hosts some of the largest elephant populations in East Africa. The elephants here migrate seasonally in search of water, following routes that have existed for generations. You’ll see herds of up to 300 elephants congregating along the Tarangire River, offering unmatched observation opportunities.

Next, the tour continues to the Serengeti National Park, one of the most legendary wildlife reserves on Earth. This UNESCO World Heritage site is renowned for its endless savannahs and the annual Great Migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles move across the plains in search of fresh grazing. The Serengeti is also home to healthy populations of elephants, lions, cheetahs, and other predators, making it a must-visit for wildlife lovers.

Together, these parks offer a dynamic and diverse safari experience—set against breathtaking landscapes and grounded in sustainable tourism principles.
